Internally Displaced Persons and Communities: Building Tolerance Through Dialogue

Goal: strengthening host communities: assisting host communities in addressing various problems with IDPs, facilitating smooth integration of IDPs into communities and supporting local authorities in working with IDPs.

Objectives:
1) Empower IDP women to provide acceptable living conditions for themselves and their families in their new environment, feel more confident and stress resistant and support their integration into host communities;
2) Strengthen the capacity of host communities to effectively respond to internal displacement, demonstrate a higher level of tolerance and support to IDPs, create conditions for the successful integration of IDPs and improve communication.
3) Promote effective interaction between local authorities and IDPs.

Target audience: IDP women, representatives of host communities and local authorities.
