The project “Resilient together. Improving the system of response to war-related sexual violence” aims to build a system based on a legal framework that empowers the agencies to undertake specific response activities, a robust and effective system of cooperation, interaction and referral between the response providers and key stakeholders having the critical capacity to provide targeted support to survivors.
Project objectives::
The Contest’s Purpose is to implement projects aimed at responding, preventing and combating war-related sexual violence and providing assistance to WRSV survivals at the local level through the implementation of a set of measures, including those provided for by regional action plans 1325, in 14 regions of Ukraine through the support of public organizations initiatives in cooperation with local authorities.
Please note that to ensure coordination and increase the efficiency of the Regional Action Plans implementation, the projects’ topics and the work format should be approved with 1325 Regional Coalitions.
Estimated project duration: up to five months
The grant amount and the number of supported projects’ proposals:
The maximum grant amount for each project proposal is EUR 15,000 (UAH equivalent).
28 project proposals are planned to support – two from each of the contest’s target oblast.

Initiatives not supported: Providing incentives to government employees; support of political parties; initiatives that are aimed at supporting professional associations and are not feminist; initiatives that cause damage to the environment.
Ineligible costs: construction, purchase of equipment/assets over EUR 1,000/item, office rent.
