Network of gender think tanks: capacity development for advanced policy design, impact assessment, strategic advocacy, and specialised policy communications

Target audience:

• Ukraine’s government counterparts that work on the EU integration • broader community of Gender and Women’s Rights Organisations (WROs) and, more narrowly, the selected think tanks that will benefit from the Action’s support • general public in Ukraine that will increase its awareness of the benefits of the EU integration

About the project:

The aim of the action is to increase consultative and monitoring of analytical centers in implementation of the European Union-Ukraine Association Agreement. Think tanks will strengthen their capacity to apply gender analysis to development, analysis and monitoring of policies connected with the AA-related transformations, as well to implement communication campaigns in support of EU integration.

Project objectives:

• Capacity development of analytical centers for policy design, analysis and monitoring of policy implementation, aimed at European integration of Ukraine, as well as for implementation of communication campaigns in support of EU integration, with gender approach applied
• Continuation of Ukraine's EU integration-related reforms with inputs of the civil society, focusing on integration oof gender aspects
• Raising awareness of Ukrainians of the Europian processes and priorities, and its positive effects on Ukrainian women in particular
