About the project:

The purpose of this project is to advance women’s security, economic empowerment, and leadership in post-conflict Ukraine by strengthening regional coalitions, enhancing sectoral implementation of WPS policies, empowering women’s leadership, and improving national monitoring and coordination mechanisms, ultimately fostering increased community resilience, reduced incidents of gender-based violence, and enhanced inclusivity in governance and recovery efforts.

Project objectives:

• Increasing the resilience of Ukrainian communities and expanding opportunities for local women leaders.
• Strengthening economic security and reducing cases of gender-based violence against women, supporting veterans and their families.
• Increasing the representation of women in leadership positions, particularly in the security and defense sector, and involving them in post-war reconstruction discussions.
• Improvement of mechanisms of monitoring and coordination between performers.
