Women, Peace and Security Agenda Brings Results Locally in Ukraine project aims to support the implementation of the Women, Peace and Security Agenda at the regional/local level in Ukraine. With this aim, we will provide tools to local stakeholders to develop and implement context-specific and results-oriented regional policies on Women, Peace and Security (WPS) in Zakarpattia, Luhansk, Lviv, Kharkiv and Khmelnytskyi regions for 2021-2025.
Within the framework of the project, representatives of non-governmental organizations, local authorities, the security and defense sector, and the media cooperate to identify and implement concrete solutions to the security challenges faced by women and girls at the local level, and to effectively implement regional action plans for the implementation of Resolution 1325 taking into account the needs of the population of a specific region. The project is implemented by the Ukrainian Women’s Fund with the financial support of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
