«Women’s Voice and Leadership – Ukraine» is a five-year project under Global Affairs Canada’s Women’s Voice and Leadership program. The project supports Ukrainian women’s rights organizations, activists, and collaborative platforms to achieve their institutional, programmatic and advocacy goals so they can contribute effectively to the full realization of human rights by women and girls and the advancement of gender equality in Ukraine.
If you represent a Ukrainian women’s/ feminist organization and have innovative ideas to support reconciliation, mutual understanding of IDPs and host communities, better integration of IDPs into communities and strengthening the role of women in the local reconciliation processes, this grant competition is for you.
Priority areas of the call:
It is expected that the support of the Women’s Voice and Leadership – Ukraine project will lead to implementation of initiatives, aimed at conflict prevention and reconciliation, establishment of mutual understanding and cooperation among IDPs and host communities, better integration of IDPs into communities and strengthening the role of women in the local reconciliation processes, that may include support for development and implementation of solidary initiatives of IDPs and host communities, innovative and creative activities promoting reconciliation and integration of IDPs, providing conditions for unlocking the potential of IDPs, in particular women, as a resource for community development. The topics of the initiatives and work formats are not limited.
